Fall is in the air and I can't wait to see all the leaves change to their vibrant colors. I found this beautiful leaf in the process of changing colors and I thought it was just so pretty it should stay just the way it is:) I'm having fun with gold leaf. Too bad it doesn't photograph so well, but it's so pretty in person:)
This is so exquisite! The colors are brilliant, and the gold leave just added the sense of ephemeral season change... I love how you use them and incorporate them into your work...ReplyDelete
Silver leaf...I bought a tube of it and I do like playing with it too. Autumn is my favorite season and I so love the changing leaves most of all. This is beautiful, Carrie.ReplyDelete
It look stunning Carrie! The leaves are turning here too - such beautiful colours! :0)ReplyDelete
I so miss seeing the leaves turn in New England and Michigan. Looking forward to having this leaf fall into my mailbox. Also it be a daily reminder of the talent of a very special artist. Thanks Carrie!ReplyDelete
This is beautiful, Carrie! If you don't mind me asking, do you actually glue "gold" leaf sheets onto your paper, or use the liquid? Thank you :-)ReplyDelete
Awesome how it just reaches out and off the page. Simply marvelous.ReplyDelete
The gold leaf goes so well with this subject matter.
I never would've thought to combine watercolors and metallics like that.
I've got to give this a try!
