Hi Everyone,
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I had a busy few days. Thursday I was a feature artist at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art, I did my first painting demo, I'll talk more about this on Wednesday's post. My fabulous in-laws came in to town to watch my boys and help me out this weekend.
I did find time to paint this guy. I really love this painting. It's so Springy and happy! I'm working on a companion piece so I'll have him finished soon.
Just a reminder I am having a workshop April 23, 24, and 25 in Montgomery, AL for details CLICK HERE.

I love this! It is a perfect Easter painting!
ReplyDeleteYou really are a whizz at reflections. The way they distort and bend really shows the bunnys form. Good luck with the workshop. I hope you have worked out what you're going to do :0)
How awesome, Carrie.....the glass bunny is perfect!
ReplyDeleteYour glass bunny is just amazing! I was just looking at my window full of glass birds yesterday, thinking how much I love to look at them with the sunshine coming through...and you captured this feeling, and the beauty, in your work. Beautiful, thank you! Kath
ReplyDeleteOoohh . . . totally love it. You know what a sucker I am for patterns! And good grief you're good with reflective surfaces. Great post.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous reflections on this glass bunny..Beautifully painted! and love the color!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute Carrie! I went for a walk this morning while my car was getting inspected, and I saw a little rabbit in a front yard - as soon as he saw me, off he went! ;-))
ReplyDeleteVery nice Carrie. I would be so lost in all the details. Your work is amazing.
ReplyDeleteAww I love this bunny! The colors and pattern (and bunny of course) say spring to me too. This is such a happy painting. I'm getting ready to paint a bunny too, but mine is furry. ;))
ReplyDeleteCe lapin de Pâques est simplement une merveille! J'aime l'éclat des reflets, un travail prodigieux...
ReplyDeleteJe vous envoie de gros bisous.
Love this painting too! Those reflections in the bunny are amazing. Fun set up and just as springy as you please! Congrats on your first live demo---know you dazzled them. Look forward to hearing about it.
ReplyDeleteHe is so beautiful! Love the depth of feeling of the glass, and the reflections too!
ReplyDeleteBegorra! It's an Irish rabbit, not really too late for St Patrick's (they haven't finished celebrating yet)and just in time for Easter. Love it. The reflections give it a self-satisfied smile as if saying, " Have you seen my fancy bow-tie?'
ReplyDeleteYou've a rare eye for a subject.
The colours and reflections... Perfect!
ReplyDeleteNice reflections and sparkles!
ReplyDeleteI love how the bunny looks totally "glassy" and sparkling -- and the compositional arrangment of the background patterns. Also, it is just so incredibly cute!!!!!
