  1. Show off! (kidding ;0)) But you are so clever and yet you make it look so easy! I LOVE the little easel too - I have tried to find some over her but have yet to come across them in the UK. The pears look beautiful! :0)

  3. I am so amazed at how you start from one side and work across the painting. It is such a gift to maintain the unity you absolutely achieve, by working like that -- I would have a totally discombobulated mess on my hands. Not to mention I'd probably change styles half-way through and it would look like 5 different people painted it! You're amazing and have incredible patience! This is absolutely a winner!

  6. It's like magic to see it progress from one photo to another, and you were able to gauge the values in the first bottle accurately again the stark white of the rest of the paper! I would be in total panic mode probably half way, thinking that I have completely messed us the value scheme... I guess our brain work quite differently ;-)

International artist's competition theme for August/September is "my favorite subject", this would make a nice entry. I can totally picture your beautiful work featured in the magazine ^___^

  7. If you could bottle art, talent and genius ... then you could take out the copyright with this picture: it's all there...in bottles!

So glad you kept the title for the pears, 'Fat Bottomed Girls' really brings that extra touch!
