Today I'm doing something a little different. I have my first video blog or vlog:) A friend I went to high school with is now an art teacher and her class had some questions for me. So I answered in video format. So here it is:)
See you Friday!
Wow! What great questions and really detailed answers! I enjoyed looking at your WIP (sunflowers). I couldn't tell if the wine was a photo or the painting? I can't wait to see that one! I definitely have to have one of those water buckets! So much better than jars spread across my work area! I really want to start playing with watercolours again. My tutor really put me off them, but now I am sure that using my own instincts I could do a lot better. Your video was inspiring. Maybe you could make a video of you actually painting one day :0)ReplyDelete
What a wonderful treat to start my day off with, Carrie!ReplyDelete
This process was beautifully done and now I see how challenging watercolors really is! LOL I truly agree with Sandra and hope that you will someday make a video of you painting a piece. I've never gone to school for Art but I learn from watching.
Loved your video! very informative and interesting. I too would love to see one done of you working on a piece. I have yet to master watercolors but love my colored pencils.ReplyDelete
Awesome! Most of the questions they asked were my questions too. I really enjoyed the video! Thanks for sharing. :)ReplyDelete
How great of you to do that video for the children, Carrie. With all you do you still find time for everyone else. You are an amazing person. Blessings!ReplyDelete
Very nice Carrie, thank you for sharing.ReplyDelete
I learned a lot. I don't know much about water colors so I appreciate all the info!ReplyDelete
I can see you becoming a professional broadcaster, Carrie. First the radio and now visual. You seem to have a natural flair.ReplyDelete
Even I understood it all, you explained it so clearly. I loved the military mess hall tray btw.
I guess I will have to try painting at some stage ;0)
Great video! I watched it yesterday but couldn't comment until today. The kids will love it I'm sure. Oh and you look fantastic by the way. You must be absolutely stunning in person because I don't know anyone who would look good filming like that. And that necklace is divine -- I want to go shopping with you. :)ReplyDelete
How cool, Carrie! Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day! xoReplyDelete
