I saw this gorgeous butterfly on my butterfly bush one day and thought it was just so beautiful!  Aren't butterflies amazing. This is a sweet little painting at 4" x 4".

    We have monarchs come through twice a year and I have photographed them - which is difficult as you must know. I am amazed at how accurate your image is. Did you draw it freehand or use another method to get it on the paper? The watercolor only really shows in the background. Great image! Love the composition also.
