'Stacked'

Hi Everyone,

Hope you had a great weekend:)  Here is my completed 6x6 'Stacked'.  I once again painted the candlewick dishes that I so love to paint. 


If you saw my post last Wednesday I shared with you a few wip pictures.  Here are the last of the wip pictures in this series.

 I'm also thrilled that all 3 of the pieces I entered into the Randy Higbee 6" Squared show have been accepted.  They are on their way to California for the show opening in Dec.

I also received news that my painting 'Pomegranates and Cranberries' received an Award of Excellence at the Louisiana Watercolor Society's Juried Member Show this past weekend.

    Wow! "Stacked" is an amazing painting. I love the warm colors in the glass. Just a hint of orange and red. Beautiful!

    And of course your paintings were accepted in the Randy Higbee show! They are stunning!

    You paint glass SO beautifully and SO convincingly - it really is quite astounding!
    And I'm not surprised about the Pomegranites painting either as it remains one of my own favourites of yours to date :0)

    I love Stacked. It's one of my favorites. The sparkling details amid all that dark is just gorgeous! And congrats on all those good news happenings!! You deserve every single one of them, you are an incredible artist!! :D
