I am happy to announce that I have lots o' prints available through
Imagekind. They start as low as $14 and some change and go up from there. You can order just a print or have them frame the art. They have a lovely selection of frames and mats at a very economical price. You can also get my prints on canvas. So check it out it's a great way to get a one of a kind look at a great price. They are on sale now for up to 30% off.
I have also added a new tab on my blog and website previewing my original works that are
under $200. I will be adding to this section this month.
In other exciting news I was so thrilled to be informed that my painting Pomegranates and Cranberries was accepted into the Montgomery Art Guild's exhibit. The exhibit will be held at the
Montgomery Museum of Fine Art, which is one of the United State's premiere fine art museums. Not too often you can say that your painting is hanging in the same building as a Homer, Hopper and Sargent. Only 76 pieces were selected out of 369 that were submitted, so I feel very honored.
I also had a painting accepted into the
Energen Art Competition. This contest is open for Alabama artists and I have to say it has been a great experience so far.
I also have 3 paintings on exhibit at the State Archives Building in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I may lose track of where everything is:)
Hope everyone has a terrific week, sending you sunshine and warm weather from sunny Alabama.
Carrie

I used to paint in 15 to 20 minute spurts and now 2 are away at college and the other in high school. Good luck in your shows.
