This week I painted a mini version of one of my favorite paintings. I think everyone is getting anxious for warmer weather and what says it better than some beautiful flowers. Hydrangeas are some of my all time favorite flowers, especially the blue ones. We have been having a lovely Summer preview at my house, it's been in the 70's and sunny, wish I could send our weather to everyone:)
I also now have prints available at Imagekind click
HERE to check them out. There is also a tab at the top of my blog that will direct you there. It's super cool, you can order them just as a print, framed or as a canvas. Right now they are on sale 10% off and free shipping.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!!
Carrie

Les nuances de vos bleus sont sublimes.

Amazingly beautiful, again, Carrie.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait until summer ..... Beautiful Carrie!
ReplyDeleteGosh - these look so real! Almost like a photograph! It's truly amazing :0)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hydrangas Carrie! I have tried to grow them for years. Around here the soil makes them pink, but every time they die on me. Oh well no green thumb here! :-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous work!
ReplyDeleteDear Carrie, Hydrangeas are amongst my favourite flowers too although I only grow white ones. Your painting is beautifully executed and I particularly like the flash of light on the silver trim of the container.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rich color and wonderful feel to this!!! I love it! We had snow...so I would probably fill that tureen with hot soup to keep warm. lol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work! xx
ReplyDeleteCarrie siempre es un placer admirar tus cuadros y composiciones, el color brilla y la luz se transmite a traves de la acuarela. Felicidades.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful no matter what size you paint it......great, Carrie.
ReplyDeleteI think you've done an excellent job with this! But, then, I think that about all your work!! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous, as usual, Carrie! You can sure pack a lot of beauty into such a small format. I really like the range of blues in the hydrangeas, with a little touch of purple. Well done!
ReplyDeleteAs always, this is another beautiful painting Carrie.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous paintings--I love this one; of such a difficult subject! Your son's paintings are all wonderful too!!
