This week has been crazy, so my painting is not complete, yet!! I had sick little boys, we've been through a stomach bug and now a bacterial infection all in the span of 6 days. Everyone did mange to perk up for trick or treating and it was a special Halloween because Grandma and Grandpa were able to come for the weekend. The boys had a ball. Hope everyone had a spooktacular weekend.
I'll see you next week or maybe before:)
I'm glad you guys got feeling better in time for trick or treating! My youngest has been sick too. Bummer :( Your painting looks awesome! Can't wait to see the big finish!ReplyDelete
It's very dramatic and graphic! At first glance, I thought it was done with just a pale, amorphous wash over the left side . . . thought it very abstract and daring! I'm looking forward to seeing the finished piece!ReplyDelete
Off to a beautiful start with this, Carrie. So glad the little ones are better and got to enjoy Halloween with their grandparents.ReplyDelete
Sorry your kiddos have been under the weather!ReplyDelete
Love the way the painting is going. Your process is so interesting to watch!
Lovin' the sneak peek Carrie! Your darks and reflections in the water are amazing! Can't wait to see the rest. So sorry you have had to deal with illness; glad everyone is on the mend.ReplyDelete
Thanks everyone! I'm very glad that we everyone is on the mend. I appreciate all of your well wishes and lovely comments. Hope everyone has a great week:)ReplyDelete

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Love your work!ReplyDelete
Your painting is coming along beautifully. I'm so impressed by the saturation of colour you are able to paint with. Your watercolours are so rich and vibrant. With this new one, the darks are SO dark! We're talking lots of layers here! Good luck with the rest of the painting, I'll look forward to seeing the progression. Thanks for visiting and your kind works.ReplyDelete
